METABOLIC PROFILING RESEARCH GROUP
WELCOME TO METABOLIC PROFILING RESEARCH GROUP
About Us
The Metabolic Profiling Research Group (MPRG) has been established in NUS Pharmacy by Professor Eric Chan since April 2006. MPRG engages its staff and students in innovative systems pharmacology research with the aim of accelerating biomarker discovery, therapeutic development and pharmacotherapy optimization. MPRG actively partners local and overseas academic, clinical, pharmaceutical and regulatory scientists in the training of undergraduate and graduate students. The proud alumni of MPRG contribute to clinical and scientific innovations in various capacities and industries. We hope you enjoy browsing through our MPRG website.

Our research interest are (1) metabolism-driven systems biology modelling of diseases, pharmacology, toxicology and mammalian host-bacteria interactions and (2) xenobiotic-derived reactive metabolite research with specific focus on interaction with biological proteins and physiological-based pharmacokinetics-pharmacodynamics (PBPK-PD) modelling of pharmacology and toxicology.
